Regarding vinyl or cd for disintegration i really don t know i haven t compared the two together it seems a difficult task to do. The album originally released in 1989 brings a repertoire of quality where we highlight pictures of you lullaby disintegration and untitled. Over 1 hour of the cure featuring fascination street direct metal mastering this music has been mixed to be played loud so turn it up. Sides b and d have scratchy persistent surface noise throughout the entire sides which you can hear through the music.

The album is crisp and clean. Hearing fascination street the first time was a real blast. Disintegration is a great album of course but my one star rating here is for the lousy quality of the vinyl. The cure disintegration is a similar version pressed at specialty records corporation as indicated by e a s t embossed in the outer edge of the b side pressing ring and sp etched in the runouts.

But truly this isn t even my favourite cure album. I own all of the cure on cd including the deluxe box sets but as they say vinyl is king. The cure disintegration 180grm heavy weight double vinyl digitally remastered from the original master tapes by robert smith complete 12 song album on double vinyl for the first time including lyric bags. It s a consistent album from start to finish with beautiful arrangements and great instrumental.
