While disintegration has my favorite color scheme and cover there is no other cure album with artwork as cool as this. The high topped sneakered prophet of gloom robert smith opens the majestic atmospheric and expansive album disintegration with the line i think it s dark and it looks like rain emblematic of all that the cure have stood for. I haven t sat down and examined waveforms but they pass my ear test. Well disintegration hasn t been remastered yet so that solves that issue right there.

The 2010 reissue on vinyl is absolutely what to get if you want it on wax. Both faith and 17 seconds remasters sound fine to me as well 17 seconds sounds pretty improved actually.
